I'm Kyla Shelley, a Sydney based freelance marketer, specialising in new concept development. 

I have 20 years experience in sales and marketing and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Human Resource Management.  I’m passionate about personal and professional development and I’ve trained as a Performance Coach with a Masters in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming).

My career began in retail, working as a Management Trainee, Section Head and later Assistant Buyer, before moving into the wholesale and manufacturing sectors, where I specialised in new product development, specifically product management in the fashion industry. 

Holding many senior Sales and Product Management roles, I’ve managed branded and private label product portfolios delivering up to 30 million dollars in annual revenue and I’ve worked with major domestic and international brands in Australia, NZ, Canada, the US and the UK.  

Working in product development I developed my skills as a Creative Project Manager, taking ideas from design to delivery, concept to consumer, I discovered my passion for positive transformation… taking new ideas, new designs, new concepts and making them a profitable market reality.  I love the blend of creativity, analysis and attention to detail required to get new products delivered on time, in full and to specification.  

Becoming a Marketing contractor in 2008 I have managed website design and development projects, developed my skills in Internet Marketing and expanded my passion for creative transformation working in construction, with a residential building company to help them develop their design and construct services, also completing a Diploma in Interior Design.

I’m passionate about putting ideas into action, making dreams a reality and design that makes a difference – helping to create businesses, services and products that have a positive impact on people and the planet.   

I Create is my Marketing and Business Development site where I work with entrepreneurs and small businesses to help them create, develop and promote profitable businesses, brands and products & my EcoCentre is where I produce and promote products designed to make a difference, being good for you, good for others and good for the environment.
